What girls go through at practice is where our design begins
Upside down, straps still in place
Four slim straps cross into a double-X on the back, spreading the pull across her whole back. Through handstands, tumbles, and arms-up spins, they're less likely to slip off her shoulders or ride up.
Wherever she stretches, the fabric follows
With 27% spandex, the fabric is stretchier than typical athletic fabric. During deep flexibility work, it stays close without squeezing or holding her back.
Focused through the very last set
The moisture-wicking fabric helps spread sweat out, so long practices feel less hot and sticky. And with no pads, there's nothing to soak up sweat and get heavy.
Washed often, still deep black
Colorfastness Grade 4 (on a 1–5 scale; higher means less fading), so frequent washing is less likely to turn it gray. The substantial 260 g/m² fabric is durable and less likely to stretch out.
Full sprint, no strap-fixing
Running means big arm swings. The double-X straps spread the pull across her back, so they're less likely to slide outward. Through repeated sprints, long jumps, and hurdles, it stays in place.
Field or gym, ready for both
Outdoor track, PE class, or strength training: the moisture-wicking fabric helps keep her dry. And black hides dirt better outdoors.

NUREBA Black: a deep black with a soft sheen
Nureba (濡羽) is a traditional Japanese color name meaning "wet raven feather": the deep, glossy black of a raven's wings after the rain. It was also used in old Japan to describe a girl's beautiful black hair. Paired with bright silver-gray straps and a reflective silver logo, it's understated with thoughtful details.

If she's between two sizes, we recommend sizing up. Kids grow fast, so she can wear it longer, and the stretchy fabric still keeps it close.
For a closer, smoother fit, choose the size that matches her current height. Avoid sizing too big.

Questions from Parents
Will it shift during tumbles or handstands?
The double-X back straps spread the pull across the back, and the 27% spandex fabric hugs the body. During tumbles, handstands, and cartwheels, it's less likely to slide off or ride up than standard-strap styles. Choosing the size that matches her height gives the best fit.
She's on the track team. Can she wear it for running?
Yes. The double-X straps are less likely to slip during arm swings, and the moisture-wicking fabric suits long outdoor sessions. This is an unpadded, single-layer style made for children and girls in early development. If she has developed noticeably and needs more support, we recommend pairing it with a padded or higher-support style.
Can it be worn under a leotard or competition wear?
Yes. The unpadded single layer lies smooth underneath. NUREBA Black works best with dark outfits; for light-colored practicewear, try YUKIZAKURA White. Keep in mind that YUKIZAKURA White's pink straps are designed to be seen, so they may show under very thin white competition wear. Because of the double-X back, if the outfit has an open back, please check whether the straps will show first.
She practices several times a week. How many should I buy?
If she practices 3+ times a week, we recommend 2–3 to rotate, so each one has enough time to be washed and fully dried. Bring one extra on competition day.
Is it enough without pads?
This style is designed for children and early development. The unpadded single layer is light and breathable, doesn't get heavy with sweat, and there are no pads to lose shape or shift after washing. The 260 g/m² fabric is on the thicker side, so it isn't see-through.
Will the black fade with daily washing?
With colorfastness Grade 4, it's rated as fade-resistant and suited to frequent washing. Wash it alone the first time, as with any dark garment. After that, use cold water and avoid bleach and tumble drying to keep it looking new longer.
Can it be worn on its own for practice?
Yes. At the dance studio, gymnastics gym, track, or indoor training, it can be worn on its own as a practice top.
How do I choose between the three colors?
It depends on her activity. For intense training in dance, gymnastics, and track, choose NUREBA Black (Competition Training). For everyday practice in light outfits, like ballet and tennis, choose YUKIZAKURA White (Everyday Training). To stand out at cheer, clubs, and competitions, choose RURI Blue (Team Activity). If she practices often, we recommend 1–2 in a light color and 1–2 in a dark color.
I measured the bra and it's smaller than her chest. Did I order the wrong size?
No. A sports bra's garment chest is meant to be a little smaller than the body. The 27% spandex fabric stretches when worn, which is what keeps it snug and in place. For example, size XL has a garment chest of 54 cm and fits a child's chest of 56–60 cm.
She's between two sizes. Which should I pick?
For everyday training, size up so she can wear it longer. If she'll mainly wear it under competition wear and wants a closer fit, choose the size that matches her current height.
She's tall for 6th grade. Will it still fit?
5XL fits girls 145–160 cm (57–63 in) tall. If she's 155 cm (61 in) or taller, please go by chest measurement: a chest of 76 cm (30 in) or less fits 5XL. If it's larger, we recommend a teen or adult size.
